Pay attention to detail
[info]lori_0000
GQ magazine just came out with The 10 most stylish men in America staring Justin Timberlake.

And I couldn't agree more. Justin has been bang on with his style predictions ever since he started to pay attention to the details of fashion. People always think dressing well is difficult. If you take a few extra minutes to put together some articles of clothing that match and fit properly the rest is up to you and your confidence. No matter what you are wearing a suit, a pair of ripped jeans, your gym clothes if you feel confident and know that you look good everyone else pick up that vibe. If you are uncomfortable people will see right through you.
If you want more information on how to dress to impress.

Image Consulting
[info]lori_0000
A dream of mine since I realized I had a eye for fashion was to be an image consultant.
I've been helping friends and family out for many years when it has come to so I'm really excited to get this project in motion. Today is my first official client. I am taking her shopping, and we are going re-vamp her look. This client has a budget which means it will be a little more challenging. Nonetheless I can't wait for the transformation.

If you or anyone you know need help with learning more about clothing styles, hair styles, make-up lessons, fitness goals, food management...

Wicked ad campaign. I love Madonna and that purse!

Check out Victoria Beckham's collection ... It's beautiful. This is one of my favorite pieces.

Pain
[info]lori_0000
I've never experienced pain like I did today. I had a minor surgical procedure this morning and it was the worst pain I have ever known. It's been 4 weeks of constant discomfort and irritation, and finally although today was the worst it is also the end. Through all of this I've had many friends who have been with me and helped me through everything. I just wanted to thank Paul, Jackie, Kim and Patrick for being there for me and making this awful experience more manageable. I love you guys! Thank you!

Smells Good!

I lit candles in my new apartment and it made such a difference. It smells so good. They make the atmosphere warm and comfortable... I love it!

Monday is around the corner!
[info]lori_0000
Monday Oct 27th 2008 will be the first day of my official fitness program created by the beautiful Maggie Diubaldo www.margaretdiubaldo.com. I'm going to try my best to get an Oxygen Magazine Cover! I'm so scared and nervous, it's a lot of work but I need to do it, I need to overcome this feeling of doubt. I always wanted to be in better shape and now I will use this opportunity as a goal. I give everyone in the fitness industry so much credit the sweat, tears and hours they put into the gym is remarkable. There are perks to all this, not only am I going to be ripped, but today I got some new running shoes :) and I get to go out and buy a new lunch cooler to carry my food in, maybe some new glass tupperware? Yes, things like that really excite me!
I will keep you posted on my progress.

XOXO

Should know better!
[info]lori_0000
I've been working for one of the largest fitness empires for 2 years now, you would think after all that time I would have a good understanding about fitness and healthy living. However I have not stepped foot into a gym in over 2 months. I like to blame my work schedule but really there are no excuses. I noticed a big difference coming home from Vegas. My body has changed. I feel out of shape, as if I have no tone left. So I've had enough, tomorrow after my photo-shoot I am coming home, strapping my Nike's on and I am running to the YMCA and I am going to get my butt in it's best shape possible!

NO MORE EXCUSES!

I'll keep you posted!

: )

Moving Day
[info]lori_0000
Moving day is finally here. I can't wait to be in my new apartment. I spent the day shopping at Ikea, it was very exciting. I want to see everything put together. This week is very busy for me, I am working on 2 Coquette photo shoots, a shoot with Oxygen Magazine and I'm in the process of writing another article for UMM Magazine!
I think it's going to be exciting to be in a different atmosphere.

AND

I'm also quite excited that Monday is Thanksgiving! Can you say PUMKIN PIE? Yummy!

It's been so long!
[info]lori_0000
Tonight is the first night since the week before Texas that I have been at home and settled in!
From Texas I jumped into a hectic work week here in Toronto from there I was off to the very glamorous Las Vegas for 4 days, back in Toronto for 1 day and before I knew it, in the air again to Calgary.
I'm certainly not complaining, I've had the best 2 months ever!
Las Vegas was amazing. I got to hang out with www.paulbuceta.com and www.ellepatille.com for the weekend drinking by the pool. An experience I'll never forget ; ) I also got to experience Rehab Sunday's at The Hard Rock Hotel (pictures are coming and worth the wait!) and met Mr. Olympia, Jay Cutler. He is a BIG man! No wonder why he is a champion!
Calgary was a trip I took with my lovely cousin Leanna. We went to visit a very close friend of ours. It was so nice, a little too cold for me, but nice! While I was there I met up with another dear friend of mine Annette Milbers! It was such a good weekend! In fact all trips were great, but I'm not going to lie, it feels great to be at home!
On that note, I'm going to snuggle up in bed and enjoy the peace and quite!

Goodnight!

Don't mess with Texas!
[info]lori_0000
I just got back from Dallas Texas. Paul and I were there shooting with the supplement company Muscletech. It was very cool! I was excited to go to Texas just to get away from Toronto for a bit, I wasn't really expecting much, but when I arrived to my surprise it was beautiful! I had a great time! We went shopping, out for dinners at amazing restaurants, watching movies, it was perfect! I recommend Texas to those who would like a small getaway.

Now it's back to reality!

OH...

I think I'm going to look for a new apartment... I need a roommate to keep costs down, anyone interested?
(Jackie???? hehe)

Highlights
[info]lori_0000
Yesterday I went to Canada's Wonderland with everyone from the studio. It was such a great day, I had been waiting to go for so long. It was everything I was hoping for and more... We went on the new roller coaster Behemoth it was insane! Ashley and I thought it would be a good idea to sit front row, on the way up I was regretting it however in the end it was totally worth it! I want to go again... SOON
After Wonderland we had a shoot for Miss Swimsuit Canada I had 6 girls coming in that I had to do make-up on. Everything was going fine until this one model shows up with wet hair... Not only was it wet but Lord she had more hair on her head then 18 year old Italian boy has on his entire body. It took me over an hour to dry it. Not to mention the studio has no air conditioner so it had gotten so hot I'm surprised we all didn't melt away. After I was done the make-up I stepped outside to get some "fresh air" and I began feeling faint so I left early (12:00am) and went straight to bed. Today I'm feeling much better.

I had a lot of fun yesterday! We should do those things more often!

AND

This afternoon I did an awesome shoot with Jackie. I got to do some Special FX make-up which I love... It turned out great! I forgot how much fun it was to make someone look like they got the shit kicked out of them! We should also do that more often! hehe

Well that's enough out of me...
I'm off to bed!

GOOD NIGHT!

Can't shake this feeling
[info]lori_0000
Don't you hate when you're in a crappy mood and can't shake it? I'm not sure what's going on but lately I've just been really down, lazy and I have no idea what to do with myself. I've been off quite a bit this week and there are so many things I could have done, but man I just can't shake this feeling. I'm heading back home to Woodstock on Friday, I'm going to make it a point to finish a chapter for my book. I think that will help me get back into the groove of things!

...Or maybe I just need a tan? LOL

You know what...
[info]lori_0000
I really like this so called "live journal"

Day off...
[info]lori_0000
So I had a day off from work, I decided to take a day to myself. I woke up early, walked to the gym, trained with my trainer Mark, who totally kicked my ass. I thought my arms were going to fall off. One day it will all pay off.... One day... After that I brought my friend Ashley who is kind of new to the city to Yorkville as she has never been. We met up with some other girls and had a nice afternoon lupper at Trattoria Nervouso (I think I spelt that correctly) It was nice to show her around and get caught up with the ladies. From there we went in Holts because their having their Now or Never sale 70% off ...I'm never one to pass on a sale!
I then starting making my way home but when I looked down at my watch it was already 7:30. I can't believe how the day just passes you by. After working out and all that walking my feet are sore...I feel worse than when I actually work all day. Doing nothing takes a lot of you. I figured I might as well end this lazy day with some fat free popcorn and a movie!

mmm popcorn

Finally
[info]lori_0000
After months of harassment from Paul, I finally decided to join Live Journal.
And I thought that was the challenging part, until of course I decided to write this, my first entry... This is going to be interesting, there are so many factors I have to think about when writing... First of all, whatever it is I write about better be interesting otherwise I'll get made fun of, which believe me happens quite a bit. Secondly everything must be spelt right, commas in their proper positions and of course trying to refrain from using the word "that" one million times in my sentences. And last but not least, writing often. Paul doesn't think I can do it, but I'll prove him wrong! Like always ; )

Stay tuned!
